From Phoenix:
The Condo is located approximately 220 miles south of Phoenix.  It is located in at the end of Las Conchas, a beachfront residential neighborhood in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico.  There are two common ways to get to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Pt.) from Phoenix.  Which way you go will depend on where in Phoenix you start.  The only difference is how you get to Gila Bend, AZ.  Once you get there, there is only one road all the way down (Highway 85) to the border.  The condo is located just over an hour south of the US/Mexico border.

Directions To Puerto Peñasco, Rocky Point, Mexico

From Phoenix: Take the I-10 West to the end of town (Buckeye Area). Take Highway 85 South to Gila Bend (same exit as I-8 to San Diego). At the end of Gila Bend, you will see a McDonald's. Right before the McDonald's, turn onto the continuation of Highway 85 South (90 more minutes until the border).  You can buy Mexican insurance in the town of Ajo or Why, AZ. at most of the gas stations.  Most people fill up with gas here and it is usually enough to make it down and back to here without having to fill up in Mexico.

Follow Highway 85 straight through into Mexico. You will have two turns to make in the town of Sonoyta. Follow the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco (that is Puerto Peñasco abbreviated). You now have roughly 60 more miles until you arrive.

Phoenix South East Valley: Take I-10 East to Maricopa Road. Head South on Maricopa (347). Travel approximately 10 miles and look for Highway 238 West (Mile Post 175). Travel west on Highway 238 for approximately one hour until you get to Highway 85 outside of Gila Bend. Turn left heading west into Gila Bend. At the end of Gila Bend, you will see a McDonald's. Right before the McDonald's, turn onto the continuation of Highway 85 South (90 more minutes until the border).

Tucson: Take I-10 to I-19 South. You will only be on I-19 for approximately one mile, then exit onto Ajo highway (also known as Hwy.86). Take Highway 86 West for about 2.5 hours until you get to a town called Why. At Why take a left, heading south on Highway 85 to the border (30 more miles).

Tucson North: Take the I-10 West to I-8 (just before Casa Grand.). Take I-8 West to Gila Bend, take the 2nd exit and turn left on Highway 85 South (or right for Gila Bend).

Follow Highway 85 straight through into Mexico. Continue for approximately 90 minutes. You will have two turns to make into the town of Sonoyta. Follow the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco (that is Puerto Peñasco abbreviated). You now have approximately 60 more miles until you arrive.

Once you arrive in Penasco

Continue on Highway 8 (which becomes Blvd. Benito Juarez) until you cross the railroad tracks. Make a left at the next traffic light onto Freemont Blvd. You will see a huge sign "< LAS CONCHAS" above this intersection.  After about a mile and a half there will be a signs for Las Conchas and CEDO and TESSORO on the right-hand side. Bear right, off the paved road and onto the dirt road leading to Las Conchas. Just past the CETMAR High School is the Las Conchas guard house entrance, just say TESSORO and they'll let you through. TESSORO is about 5 miles past the guard house, just drive all the way to the end of Las Conchas until you can go no further.  This is where you will find the Exclusive Resort of Tessoro.  La Vida Fina Luxury Condo is Tessoro unit #302.  Just tell the gate guard you are renting Tessoro #302 and he will let you in.  After checking in, you may park your car in the underground garage.  Take the #2 elevator up to the unit.  Enjoy!
